We are excited to partner with Carolina Ocean Studies this summer to bring an incredible opportunity to visit Masonboro Island! This VERY popular excursion takes your camper to the beautiful deserted beaches of Masonboro Island.   Masonboro is the largest undeveloped island on North Carolina's southern coast and is preserved just for education, research and traditional uses. Activities can include crabbing, investigating the life found in a salt marsh and exploring one of the best shelling beaches in our state. Consider signing your camper up if they meet the details below match up!
Details
  • Offered  Weeks 1(June10) , Week 3(June22), Week 4(July 1), Week 6 (July15) and Week 8 (July29) for 1st-6th Grade only! The trip will be on Tuesdays.
  • Cost is $45/camper and includes all equipment needed for clamming, crabbing, shelling and exploration
  • Campers would attend Camp Impact by 8am and be shuttled to the launch location at Carolina Beach Marina. This is a 3 hour program. 
  • Campers will bring their lunches for a picnic at the marina before riding back to Impact Church. 
  • Limited Space - First come first serve basis! (35 spots per week)
